Star Wars Rebels: Inquisitors Rising

Prologue

“How’s the device?”

“It’s good, it has a steady beep, Doctor.” The Nurse said as she looked at a silver, round device that was on the unconscious woman’s neck, just below her ear. She wasn’t the only one that had the device on her, there was three others.

Two women and one man.

“Why is the Emperor having us put this on? I thought they were loyal.” The Nurse said.

The Doctor looked at her and said, “Because they are too dangerous, while they are loyal to him he’s worried about what would they do if they met the missing Princess.”

“So this is to make sure they don’t betray him?”

“Yes, it’ll kill them as soon as they do.”

The woman doesn’t say anything at that, just wiping the blood off the woman’s neck. It was a dark red color, very much like dried blood but it wasn’t.

“The other devices are working?”

“Yes, sir.”

“Excellent, let’s get them to the room and let them wake up naturally.”

“Yes, sir.”

The woman woke up slowly, she blinked her heavily eyes as she sat up and looked around. Her brown eyes scanned the room, she reached up and touch the sore spot on her neck. There was something there...round and slightly raised up.

She frowned before lowered her hand, she looked around once more. She wasn’t alone in the room, there was three other. Two females and one male.

They looked familiar but she didn’t know why….has she met them before? She couldn’t remember, her memory was fuzzy…

She swung her leg over the side of the bed and stood up, wincing when her bare feet touched the cold floor. She stood up and looked at her bed, above the bed was a nameplate that read: Kilara.

...That was her name, she remembered that.

Kilara turned around and headed to a locker, she opened it and saw black armor inside. Brown eyes looked over the armor before she closed it. Kilara needed to shower first and then get dressed, she’ll wait for her roommates to wake up.

She headed to the refresher, her bare feet not making any sound as she walked.
